Tutoring

AGES & EXAMS

We work with exam preparation specialists covering all the main exams a student is likely to encounter during their British education journey, from the 7+ all the way to university finals. Preparing students for exams is a particular skill, and we only hire tutors that have proven track records of success.

Preparatory

We work with children aged 4 to 12 instilling a love of learning and embedding the core numeracy and language skills required for future academic success. We also prepare them for specific exams to secure places at top British preparatory and upper schools.  The main exams are:

  • 7+ (exams to enter preparatory school in year three)

  • 11+ (exams to enter senior school in year seven)

  • 13+ (exams to enter senior school in year nine)

Upper

The ages from 13 to 18 are a crucial time in education when exams must be passed that will impact opportunities in later life and ultimately determine whether the student will progress to a top university. Our Oxbridge tutors know from experience how to provide the necessary guidance during this period. The main exams we provide tutoring in are:

  • GCSEs & IGCSEs: school exams sat at age 16

  • A-Levels, IB and Pre-U: school exams sat at age 18

  • University Entrance Exams: required to gain places on some courses at Oxford and Cambridge, and highly competitive courses at other top UK universities

University

We support students studying for BAs, MAs, MBAs, and sometimes PhDs. Each tutor appointed for a higher education role is an expert in their subject, usually holding a PhD and with teaching experience at an elite university.

For university students and recent graduates, we also provide through our career mentoring service, the necessary support and guidance on how best to secure a coveted position in the graduate job market.

Beyond University

We also provide tutoring for adults looking to improve their business English as well as those interested in pursuing independent study.
