OPTIONS

Our tutors provide home schooling as well as full-time and part-time support after school, on weekends and over the school holidays. Tutoring sessions are tailored to each child’s academic needs and occur at a time and place convenient to the family. Our tutoring service is also international and available to families throughout the world.

Home Schooling

We find that home schooling can provide important stability and continuity for a child’s education and is an excellent option for:

  • Families that travel frequently

  • Families that live in countries with sub-standard British schooling options

  • Students who have significant extra-curricular commitments, such as sport, music or acting

Our tutors are able to home school children through the full-range of British and international exams, including GCSEs, A-levels and IBs. We also deal with the many bureaucratic issues associated with home schooling such as exam registration.

Full-time Tutoring

We find hiring a full-time tutor to supplement traditional schooling can be very helpful for:

  • Families who would like their children to be supported with their schoolwork and stretched beyond the limits of the school curriculum

  • Families who would like their children to become fluent in foreign languages

  • Students who do not presently attend a British school but are preparing to enter a British boarding school

We try to build extra-curricular activities into any full-time tutoring or home-schooling programme. Many of our tutors possess talents in sport, drama, art and music and are happy to share these with their students.

Part-time Tutoring

We also offer part-time tutoring to students of pre-school age up to those reading for university degrees.

Part-time tutoring is suitable for students:

  • Preparing for a specific exam or set of exams

  • Experiencing difficulties in a particular subject or subjects at school

  • Looking to pursue academic interests outside of the traditional curriculum

Part-time support can be extensive (up to 16 hours per week) or more minimal (as little as 2 hours per week).
